Western Australia is a renowned spider photography destination. Many of the country’s most unique, beautiful and fascinating spiders call Western Australia home. From the charismatic dancing Peacock spiders, to the reclusive and enigmatic trapdoors, there is truly no shortage here of amazing behaviours and mind-blowing diversity to be discovered.
In honour of 50 years of continuous trapdoor spider research in Tammin, WA, we invite you to submit your best photos of Western Australian spiders to put yourself in the running for some great prizes and a chance to see your photo on display at the Matriarchs of the Wheatbelt festival.
The Spider Photography Competition is sponsored by Minibeast Wildlife.
